NYC (he lives in Torrance now) he took us to Hermosa/Manhattan Beach,
then Venice, then we drove up PCH up thru Malibu and stopped by
neptunes Net (a beachside seafood cafe) for dinner didnt get to catch
the total sunset but we did explore the trail by the beach across teh
PCH from Neptunes Net. met up with another NYC transplant drove to SD
at 10pm, arrived by 1230am (full day despite arrivnig at noon eh? i was
      really pleased :) )

    • SD Friday thru Monday midday (22nd-25th) ate
some good Vietnamese food in Mira Mesa where they live..then headed to
La Jolla Shores wtih our firends who we were staying with, went boogie
boarding till dinnertime, then went to eat sushi at a popular place
later that night. Sat we went to Ocean Beach and ate at Hoedads this
awesomely cool and laidback burger joint..then rushed to Point
Loma/Cabrillo Monument, did some hiking and saw a great view of San
Diego Bay as well as saw the tidepools etc at the base of Point Loma,
then went to the Cliffs to watch the sunset (it was a bit too cloudy
tho =/). Sunday my firends family had a bbq with relatives we were at
Ski Beach jetskiing swimming and playing volleyball all day while
enjoying a HUGE Vietnamese feast, then went to Firehouse at PB for some
drinks with another SD friend we havent seen in mad long. Drove to LA
on Monday, arrived by 4-5pm or something.

    • LA Monday night to
Tuesday 1pm - hung out in my firends pool for like 3 hrs, then met up
another firend we havent seen since our last foray to LA two yrs ago, went to Redondo Beach which was close by, ate dungeness
crabs at this korean place on the pier it was soo good, watched the
sunset thru the windows, then was at the arcade area being silly,
freind had to go to bed at 9pm so it wasnt really a full day but it was
      koo
all in all a great trip. Pics to come...i still love San Diego over LA tho, haha. I really want to end up living there. :)

i love this freedom and glad i place my priority on travel and doing new things.  there will certainly be less opportunity once i start school again come september, but i am totally welcoming that as yet another new thing for 2008   **no one year should be the same...one should always strive to add at least a few new things/experiences to broaden urself.  Change can happen in as little as one yr***
